An awesome place I've visited:
I've been to Barcelona. I swear it's my favorite city in the world. I stepped off the plane and instantly felt at home. They have great museums, night life, food, people...My only misgiving was that the water there is COLD. Still, I've been trying to figure out a way to move there ever since.
My perfect Sunday:
Wake up and take a run. Head to church and meet up some friends for brunch. Finish off the day reading or reviewing the highlights from Sunday political programs. I've always said that Sunday is the day I practice being old.
The movie I've watched the most times:
Yikes...truthfully, considering I watched it everyday after school when I was six, Annie. As an adult, I've probably watched Last of the Mohicans and The Princess Bride more than any other movies.
My life history in 5 sentences or fewer:
Grew up as a little bit of an oddball in small town west Texas only to move and become the oddball in small town New Mexico. I stayed in New Mexico for college only to realize how much I missed home and decided to attended UT Law. I moved to Dallas for a job opportunity and have now lived here for 3 years. In all of this time, I've enjoyed a wonderful family, found a network of friends across the country and crossed both the Atlantic and Pacific to visit other countries.
My first concert / My dream concert:
My first concert was Willie Nelson, and he was amazing. My dream concert would be to travel back in time to see the Rolling Stones at Madison Square Garden in '72.
Obscure knowledge I possess:
I know a lot of Yiddish.
I have a weakness for guys/girls who:
are slightly geeky. I've dated history geeks, political geeks, tattoo geeks, computer geeks. It doesn't really matter what your poison is; I just love people who are passionate about what interests them.
For me, a first date no-no is:
asking me questions as if I'm interviewing to be your wife. I do not like answering the checklist.
What I would bring to show and tell:

The anti-Valentine's Day party I went to in law school.
I secretly want to be:
like Nigella Lawson. I love her personality, her cooking skills and how she makes food so enjoyable.
I want to be with someone who wants to be:
To be successful but is also focused on balancing that with their personal life. And, I would hope they expect the same out me. I'm not the stay at home type.
An infatuation of mine:
I don't really have one. I'm interested in so many things, it's really difficult to become infatuated with anything in particular.
If I won the lottery and quit my job, I would:
give my immediate family a chunk of money and then travel forever. I really do mean forever.
One thing my mother would want you to know about me:
is that you should never give into me when I'm pouting. It's all good-natured pouting though.
I want to come home to:
Hugs, a warm smile, and some good conversation.
