How about we… take all the gift cards and credit I've earned doing photoshoots for restaurants around town and spend them all in one evening. Drinks at X, appetizers at Y, dinner at Z, dessert at A, etc.
How about we… hit up Art and Soul for their weekly Wednesday Crab Boil? Yum!
How about we… Go for a trail ride and enjoy the great outdoors.
London. It'll always be my home away from home.
Late brunch at somewhere delicious where I can get a decent cup of tea (like Circa in Dupont or Napoleon in Adam's Morgan), some time in the sun (whether that be people watching and having drinks on a patio, playing bocce in a park, etc.), some good home cooked BBQ for dinner, and Game of Thrones on HBO. Simple, but totally the perfect Sunday.
Probably Fear & Loathing In Las Vegas... it's just my go-to movie for a lazy night in. Kind of weird, a little trippy but altogether full of some excellent dialogue/voiceovers (like "the wave speech" - http://tinyurl.com/hstwavespeech)
Born and raised in New York to which I spend most of my adolescence perfecting my posture and my horseback riding skills. I spent some time traveling and living abroad due to riding, only to return stateside for college. Went to G.W. to study philosophy and politics. Fast forward through a slew of political internships and lengthy employment at a law/lobby firm, I'm now doing what I love at a company called BrighestYoungThings.com. Oh, and yes I still ride horses!
The Beach Boys - 1994 at Jones Beach Amphitheater. I remember being entranced by the big, bright beach balls being vollied overhead by members of the audience... and how little crabs would pinch at your toes, if you were in the standing room section and you weren't paying attention... So epic. My parents were the coolest for making this my first concert ever. As for my dream concert? David Bowie. Joy Division. Nirvana. Pick one. Venue doesn't matter.
have the desire to create art/music/inventions/conversation/good times/good vibes/memoriesetc. A sense of adventure/willingness to learn are a must. Finally, guys who are assertive without being domineering are ideal. Simple enough, no? Ha!
My owl's talon necklace. It was made by a friend and is truly one of my more treasured possessions.
competing on the US Equestrian Team in showjumping. It was almost a reality... ask me about it sometime.
