An awesome place I've visited:
Italy & Montreal were both fantastic. I just got back from visiting a friend who recently moved to London, and it was the perfect trip. A little of the touristy stuff and then a tour London's best local spots for food & drinks thanks to my friend with the inside skinny.
My perfect Sunday:
A nice run followed by brunch then hitting the beach for some R&R and a surfing lesson (summer) or watching football and having a couple of pints (fall/winter)
The movie I've watched the most times:
It's a tie between The Goonies and Dazed and Confused.
My life history in 5 sentences or fewer:
I was born and raised on Long Island so I'm a beach girl. I have a passion for music and travel that started very early. I went to college, majored in English to focus on creative writing, studied abroad in Italy, made life-long friends and moved to NYC shortly after graduating. I now work in advertising, which I love! I became a bit of an outdoorsy/fitness nut a few years ago and participate in marathons, triathlons and mudruns throughout the year. I love exploring the city, making new friends and finding great new places. I'm positive, a lot of fun and can be sassy at times.
My first concert / My dream concert:
My first concert was Nine Inch Nails (strange but good) and I never miss U2 when they're in town - best live musical act around!
Obscure knowledge I possess:
Knowing lyrics to just about every song out there is, no matter the genre as well as random movie quotes and pop culture facts. Oh and tips for getting in and out of wetsuits quickly!
I have a weakness for guys/girls who:
Have a great sense of humor, are self-assured, wicked smart, a bit mysterious and are active/outdoorsy. Think vampire/lumberjack.
For me, a first date no-no is:
Any kind of rude behavior. Constantly checking phone/blackberry is at the top of the list.

If I won the lottery and quit my job, I would:
Take care of my family. Buy a sailboat, Learn how to sail and travel the world while writing my first novel. Would be itching to get back to work at some point so I would start my own business or non-profit eventually.
One thing my mother would want you to know about me:
That I am very supportive and kind. Also, that I'm very ladylike, although I occasionally snort when I laugh (if something is very funny) and have the mouth of a truck driver only when the Jets are playing.
