I've been told more than once, I am an old soul residing in younger body. I have a biting and wide sense of humor and love sarcasm, but am not rude with it. I do understand the value of listening and sharing ideas, thoughts and feelings. People make things complicated by either being afraid or too cautious. Communication solves a lot of issues. I've learned if you cannot write what you think or feel, the in-person meeting usually is disappointing.
