How about we… go to brookyn bridge park on thursday for the free outdoor concert?
How about we… Take the ferry from point-to-point-to-point and take in a few Brooklyn/Manhattan jumping off spots.
How about we… Have a drink & appetizers, and go listen and dance to a good funk band. (Ignore that arts & crafts) date on my site - pushed a wrong button).
An awesome place I've visited:
Patagonia, sipping martinis on a glacier, standing amidst thousands of penguins, a couple trying to untie my shoelaces
My perfect Sunday:
morning jog, leisurely breakfast, do something "city" - walk in the park, museum, cultural event, jazz in the evening...
The movie I've watched the most times:
Perhaps "Stop Making Sense," Talking Heads concert film. As for a "real" movie, perhaps "Midnight Run" with Robert DeNiro and Charles Grodin. Perfect combo of comedy/great plotting, smart writing.
My life history in 5 sentences or fewer:
Grew up in NYC. Traveled the world as a street performer doing a comedy/magic act. Became a satirical newspaper columnist/radio commentator. Always loved to dance.
My first concert / My dream concert:
free Grateful Dead concert in the Central Park bandshell/ I loved when David Byrne went through his brief 'big Latin band' period
Obscure knowledge I possess:
how to escape when someone ties me up. (not as kinky as it sounds)
I have a weakness for guys/girls who:
are spontaneous, spirited, and funny.
For me, a first date no-no is:
Going to a movie, or someplace where we can't talk for 2 hours. We're supposed to be getting to know each other, right?
What I would bring to show and tell:
The new great song I wrote
A story you should remind me to tell you on our first date:
The time I almost burnt down an entire town
I secretly want to be:
A saxophone player.
I want to be with someone who wants to be:
creating a stimulating, fulfilling, well-lived life.
If I won the lottery and quit my job, I would:
Now that would be really a miracle, since I don't play the lottery.
One thing my mother would want you to know about me:
you'll have to ask her.
I want to come home to:
a warm, welcoming place
