How about we… go to a karaoke bar and pick songs for each other to sing.
An awesome place I've visited:
I went to Spain when I was in high school. We were wondering around Barcelona on our first day there and discovered the best little hole-in-the-wall cafe...the food was amazing and you could see the city square from the front window. It was very surreal and postcard-esque.
My perfect Sunday:
It starts with a good cup of coffee and breakfast at a local cafe. If it is warm weather, lounging by a pool followed up by a good movie at home. If it is football season, hitting a local sports bar to watch a game or two followed by a hot cup of coffee and walk in the chilly air.
The movie I've watched the most times:
The Breakfast Club
My life history in 5 sentences or fewer:
I'm the product of cultural clashes. I was raised to see the good in all people. I am constantly challenging myself and make things happen. I moved across the country from friends and family just to see what life had in store for me. I view life like a "choose your own adventure" novel.
My first concert / My dream concert:
Color Me Bad (yes,really)/Buddy Holly with Slash as a special guest
Obscure knowledge I possess:
I know a lot about roller derby...I played for about three years.
I have a weakness for guys/girls who:
have well kept facial hair and who love animals.
For me, a first date no-no is:
Telling me about your "crazy" ex-girlfriend. The third date is a better time to tell me about that chick.
What I would bring to show and tell:
My roller skates and my knitting needles
A story you should remind me to tell you on our first date:
The time I met Charles Barkley.
I secretly want to be:
A country singer... Loretta Lynn style.
I want to be with someone who wants to be:
An infatuation of mine:
Hair metal, coffee and cowboy boots (okay, shoes in general).
If I won the lottery and quit my job, I would:
Pay off my parents' house, buy one frivolous item, and start an organization that provides services for the mentally ill for free.
One thing my mother would want you to know about me:
I'm very compassionate and often think of how my actions affect others...and that I wore my ballet tutu to climb trees when I was five.
I want to come home to:
A clean house and "come hither" grin.
