Eat

How about we… eat some sushi at Sushi Zone. The trick here is to put your name down and then get a cocktail or two at Pisco next door. Makes for a pleasant evening.

Drink-bar

How about we… get a glass of wine at Hotel Biron. Or another wine bar's cool too (Noir just opened in Hayes Valley). I don't know much about wine but I'm very open to learning more.

Drink-cafe

How about we… get a cup of coffee at your favorite coffee shop. I realize this isn't the most creative date but dammit I really like coffee and if you recommend a place I've never been to I'll be forever grateful. In case you're stumped on great coffee shops, the best cup I've had was probably at Ma'velous. The man is a wizard or something.

About sglickman

My email address:

seth.glickman at gmail.com I'd type the whole thing out but it gets bowdlerized by the site, so you'll have to do a little legwork and piece the full email address together yourself. My sincerest apologies.

My perfect Sunday:

Perfect Sundays tend to involve a book or magazine, at least one cafe (preferably with outdoor seating & nice weather), and a lot of walking. Running into friends is nice too. Also I recently started doing crosswords, so that fits in there too somewhere.

The movie I've watched the most times:

Maybe a tossup between The Shining and A Serious Man. Probably The Shining. Don't read too much into that.

My first concert / My dream concert:

My first concert was pretty late in life; I saw Andrew Bird playing at the Higher Ground theater in Burlington, Vermont when I was a sophomore in college. Been to a lot of concerts since then though.

If I won the lottery and quit my job, I would:

spend a lot more time traveling & reading. Ooh and move to a place which allows dogs and get an awesome dog. I'm sure with enough of that lottery money I could reconcile the traveling part of that with the owning-a-dog part.
