About rocco6700

An awesome place I've visited:

Rome. Great food, art, history. Can't soak it all in in 10 days. Need to go back. Foodwise I was on a hunt for the perfect veal entree. I found a restaurant (can't remember the name) near the Pantheon on this really narrow street that had the best veal on the planet. I went back there every other day just so that I won't get burnt out.

My perfect Sunday:

Relaxing in my Adirondack chair with a book or the Sunday Rimes crossword puzzle. Zen-like activities are now a large part of my life. Possibly a nature walk (easy hike), museum. The best Sunday I can remember was a trip to Lake George in October just when the leaves started changing. Sat in an Adirondack chair at the lake shore and just soaked it all in.

The movie I've watched the most times:

The Godfather

My life history in 5 sentences or fewer:

Born in Worcester MA. One of two children (younger sister). Went to high school @ St. John's. Attend college @ University of Rochester followed by grad school @ NYU Med. School and University of Texas. Divorced. No kids. Both parents still alive and well. Currently residing in Stow MA. Work for a biopharmaceutical company in Hopkinton (Lonza Biologics, 4 years)

My first concert / My dream concert:

First concert: J. Geils Band 1980 something Dream concert: Big Four Tour 2011 I was raised a metalhead but I also listen to more relaxing music (contemporary jazz, new age, 70's soft rock) in my old age :)

Obscure knowledge I possess:

British history. I enjoy reading this because some of the stories are so out of control. No one can realize how dumb or ridiculous a person can be. Jjust follow past British monarchs or members of the upper class.

I have a weakness for guys/girls who:

Sociable / Independent. Especially those who are goof at engaging in good conversation. I also enjoy capable, take charge attitude.

For me, a first date no-no is:

Shop talk. Any conversation that is completely wrapped around work.

A story you should remind me to tell you on our first date:

How I got out if the guitar playing business.

I secretly want to be:

Lead guitarist

If I won the lottery and quit my job, I would:

Move South (Miami, Carribean Island), buy a house, and live out my remaining days in paradise, on the white sand, in a lounge chair, with a fruity cocktail w/umbrella.

One thing my mother would want you to know about me:

I'm caring. Think of others first me secondary.

I want to come home to:

Someone who appreciates me, is happy to see me, and wants to spend quality time regardless what the activity is. Any time together is quality time in my book.
