How about we… try the smoked meat poutine at the Mile End Deli.
An awesome place I've visited
Vancouver: It's where I discovered yoga and the yumminess of poutine! The locals were super-friendly and loved to talk hockey, hardly any traffic jams, and the air was less polluted there, too! There was also that one homeless guy who, in my mind, figured out how to get people to help him out in the most creative way possible!
My perfect sunday
sleeping in until noon, waking up just in time for when that day's games start! Or if no one's playing, take a long bike ride, read a book, or cook up a new dish!
The movie I've watched the most times
Little Big League, even though the ending still makes me cringe.
My life history in 5 sentences or fewer
Took my first breath in Brooklyn...And if you want to know the rest, we will have to make some face time!
My first concert / My dream concert
Tori Amos was my first concert. She blew me away with her cover of Radiohead's "Creep" (I have pictures to document the evidence)! Dream concert? Billy Joel, where he finally utters the words, "This is the first single off my brand new album which is coming out this fall..."
Obscure knowledge I possess
The seemingly strange, yet interesting rules of Canadian football. How to keep score of a baseball game...it's really become a lost art. Also, where the "natural flavors" in your food really come from. (Thanks, Food Babe!)
I have a weakness for Guys/Girls who
love playing and watching sports more than I do! I also have a soft spot for older women and those who think having kids is so overrated.
For me, a first date no-no is
unless you want to take a selfie of us, please put your phone away! Actually, I'll provide the point-and-shoot camera for us to do that!
What I would bring to show and tell
The best pictures I've taken from sporting events I've witnessed in person, along with the camera I used. Better yet, my collection of broken and "retired" cameras that I never wanted to throw away!
A story you should remind me to tell you on our first date
My encounter with the aforementioned homeless guy in Vancouver.
I secretly want to be
An NHL player...but I'm terrible at skating backwards!
I want to be with someone who wants to be
with me, and always traveling, exploring, learning, growing, and evolving!
An infatuation of mine
Sports photography: There's something about anticipating a great moment about to unfold in front of you and capturing it with your camera before it gets away!
If I won the lottery and quit my job, I would
Travel the country and see a baseball game in all 30 major league ballparks! (I only have 21 more to see in person as of this writing). Also catch an English Premier League match and travel the world!
One thing my mother would want you to know about me
My mom says I'm a catch, I'm popular! No, she didn't say that...or did she?
I want to come home to
Someone who feels a connection and is really into me.
