Mostly retired now... two careers, so far: Builder/Designer/Developer to 1994, then Small Business Consultant to present.
How about we… Walk through Golden Gate Park then get some lunch/dinner at some little Vietnamese place on Clement.
An awesome place I've visited:
Canyonlands National Park, Utah... to name just one.
My perfect Sunday:
Get up slowly, breakfast late, walk/hike in the country or the city - dinner with friends, then early to bed to make love with you.
The movie I've watched the most times:
Dunno - But one old film I love is 'Robin and Marion' w/ Sean Connery and Audrey Hepburn. Tale of Robin Hood returning in his middle age to England after going off with King Richard to fight in the Crusades. He meets again his love Marion, who has become a nun after Robin left her for war. Much love, much sadness, very dear.
My life history in 5 sentences or fewer:
I. Am. Right. Here. Now.
My first concert / My dream concert:
Vancouver, Canada. The Vancouver Philharmonic performing Stravinsky's Firebird and Rite of Spring, with the 92 yr old Igor himself conducting the latter! 1964.
Obscure knowledge I possess:
Hmmm, most of what I know is obscure... at least to me... OK, here's one: In Zen meditation years ago, I learned to sit very silent and still for days on end.
I have a weakness for guys/girls who:
Who like me... and show it.
For me, a first date no-no is:
Changing things at the last minute, or being very late. Would be hard to be encouraged by that.
What I would bring to show and tell:
My energy. My happy grin. And excitement about our being together...
A story you should remind me to tell you on our first date:
I've resolved not to re-tell any stories I've ever told to anyone before! I find I get dull and bore myself (and others) silly when I do that. Besides, I don't want to tell stories... I want to be and play with You!
I secretly want to be:
A filmmaker. Show how we love each other.
I want to be with someone who wants to be:
Honest and open. Not only honest, but forthright... willing to seek how she and I really feel about things now.
An infatuation of mine:
Oh... so many! I've recently rediscovered Mozart... I just love his piano concerti. But mostly I'm in love with this, here, now. This beautiful being we all are.
If I won the lottery and quit my job, I would:
Give the damn stuff away as quick as I could... y'know what Jesus said about rich men and all? And this IS the 'kingdom of heaven'. And money can't buy any of it.
One thing my mother would want you to know about me:
That I've cared for her.
I want to come home to:
Your warmth and touch, your humor and willingness to put up with my goofy ways. Good conversation, our good friends, much space for just the two of us....! And I'll bring home the fresh wind on my face, my day's news and a deep desire to relax into each other.
