How about we… ... hike up Mt. Tamalpais, find ourselves a warm spot with a view of the ocean to watch the sunset while I read "Fup" by Jim Dodge to you - before retreating to Stinson Beach for dinner?
How about we… ...have a candlelight dinner on China Beach (I'll bring the table, chairs, food and of course the candles)
The air - flying my paraglider a few thousand feet over the pacific coastline of Big Sur, along the Eiger North Face or over deep valleys of the Italian Dolomites.
Could involve anything from staying in bed sipping coffee or tea followed by a prolonged brunch in the afternoon and a fancy dinner in the evening, talking about art, architecture, life and the universe, to flying off a mountain in the Sierra Nevada after having hiked it since the crack of dawn.
