An awesome place I've visited:

Paris is awesome. But, closer to home, I am a big fan of NYC in general--restaurants, museums, theatre, parks, concerts, you name it.

My perfect Sunday:

Sleeping in, grabbing brunch at a not-too-crowded place, complete with some good bloody marys. Walking around and exploring NYC follows, or catching the game on tv.

The movie I've watched the most times:

Big Hitchcock fan.

My life history in 5 sentences or fewer:

I've been in academia (whether as a student, grad student, or presently as a teacher) almost all my life. Music is a big part of who I am as well. I'm still somewhat indifferent to the "gay scene" and am hoping to find guys who feel the same way. I honestly feel too old for that stuff sometimes.

I have a weakness for guys/girls who:

take good care of themselves physically. You don't have to be a gym rat (and please, don't be one of those Chelsea guys with the oversize pecs and too-tight shirts), but I am attracted to guys you can say are in reasonably good shape.

For me, a first date no-no is:

Asking me "what am I into", and meaning it sexually. I don't want to go there on a first date--unless the vibe is right, and thus, does not need to be laid out in advance like that.
