How about we… trivia night at dempseys?
I've traveled a lot for fun, and had it - France, Turkey, Greece, Big Sur, Spain, and more... but I've also traveled for work to a professional wrestling match in orlando which turned out to be awesome. I've been to beard competitions in austria, western PA, and Carson City, NV - those were also awesome. I also awesomely went for work, too, to the Jena 6 march where a black panther tried to punch me.
Sleep in, drink some coffee (hopefully not that I've brewed since I have never mastered actually brewing "good" coffee) and a walk around the city. Meeting up with lovely people for lovely conversation and maybe even board games (!) and then retiring to the couch for 60 Minutes, Breaking Bad and... well, True Blood even though it's no longer remotely worth watching.
If I counted the amount of times I've seen the film Teen Witch, I'd want to kill myself. But I've also seen Raising Arizona about as many so perhaps there's balance in the universe. Or on my TV. Neither, by the way, would qualify as a favorite though Raising Arizona does come close.
First concert -- 1988 Def Leppard Hysteria tour with Europe opening. ROCK IT, YEAH. I just saw them play again last week, 23 years later. It was great but maybe no more old people rock shows.
I still have Jaberwocky memorized. I could really use the brain space for something else but it's settled in like the kudzu plant has in Atlanta.
