I grew up in a log cabin four left turns from DC. I moved here for college and have been here ever since (except for a 10 month detour in New York). It may be swampy in the summer and brutally cold in the winter, but DC is my favorite place on Earth.
My first concert / My dream concert:
The first five concerts in my lifetime were Bonnie Raitt. My mom was/is a big fan and we used to have Bonnie Raitt dance parties in our house on a regular basis.
Obscure knowledge I possess:
the various styles of the pince-nez.
For me, a first date no-no is:
being too formal.
