An awesome place I've visited:
The Dinosaur Museum in Cabazon. Several times.
My perfect Sunday:
Sleep in late, wake up and cook a big breakfast. Bike ride to the beach for a cold Heffeweisen. Some afternoon swimming and pool lounging followed by an evening out in good company with great food.
The movie I've watched the most times:
Hmm it's either Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Raising Arizona, Pulp Fiction, Blade Runner, or Aliens.
My life history in 5 sentences or fewer:
Born in Cali, joined the Navy, got married very young, co-produced some great kids, moved to LA, found success doing what I love, got divorced, now enjoying life in Santa Monica. There's quite a bit more inside the commas - ask me if you're interested, I'm pretty open.
My first concert / My dream concert:
First: John Williams at the Hollywood Bowl. Dream: Lollapalooza '92. I missed that one for boot camp :(
Obscure knowledge I possess:
I've been a close-participant in childbirth a couple times. I know my way around that process better than many!
I have a weakness for guys/girls who:
Have focus, ambition, nice lips and a warm smile. Have dark sultry features and a bit of Naughty to spice up the Nice. Have the capacity to geek-out about something. Are truly kind-hearted, generous people.
For me, a first date no-no is:
Here are a few... Going to a movie or some other non-conversational venue. Talking incessantly about collections of any kind, sports, World of Warcraft, or shopping. Going to a fancy restaurant. Let's just have drinks or coffee first, we can work up to dinner.
What I would bring to show and tell:
A sharp mind and a discerning eye for detail. An arsenal of life-learned anecdotes and advice on life, relationships, marriage and divorce. All the eye candy a roomful of blind people can safely ingest.
A story you should remind me to tell you on our first date:
It's one of my favorites about this guy who didn't like green eggs and ham.
I secretly want to be:
A masked vigilante. But there just doesn't seem to be much need for one on the westside.
I want to be with someone who wants to be:
deeply adored and showered with affection, openness and honesty, trusted completely and to feel confident in trusting her partner.

If I won the lottery and quit my job, I would:
learn to fly, buy a plane, and start a new business in a beach house.

I don't listen to good advice. What can I say, I like to figure things out on my own.
I want to come home to:
A warm smile and hug, a loving kiss, and a house that's at least as clean as I left it. The smell of something cooking is really nice too while we're making the wish list.
