Grew up in the DC area before going to college in St. Louis and studying English and Psychology. Got accepted to Teach For America and taught at an inner city middle school in East Baltimore. Picked up a masters degree and changed schools, but I still love teaching, coaching, reading, writing, exercising....

My first concert / My dream concert:

First concert was Green Day at American University in 1999. Dream concert might be to go back in time and see Bruce Springsteen in the 1970s.
