I was born and raised a farmgirl in the Midwest but have relocated to Boston for my terminal degree. I enjoy the dichotomy of life that allows me to lay trout lines in the afternoon and attend a gala event in the evening. I'm close to my family, can lose myself in an oil painting for hours, and love storms in any form.

Obscure knowledge I possess:

How to cook a tarantula, how to check a hog for "thumping," where one can locate a fish maw, what it feels like to be mechanically cardioverted (Clear!) - arcane knowledge merely depends on your experiences and point of view.

For me, a first date no-no is:

asking me to teach you to kill a chicken. I said no.
