My life history in 5 sentences or fewer:
1. I was born and raised in Tampa. 2. I did my BA in international affairs at a school in DC which I did not enjoy, partly because I profoundly dislike even slightly cold weather. 3. I served two terms in the National Civilian Community Corps, an AmeriCorps program which helped me put together some money for grad school. 4. After getting an MPH in global health at the University of South Florida, I have been working in Africa for over a year now. 5. Also, I like poetry, reggae music, science fiction and red wine.
