How about we… Flip a coin, and the winner picks a Thursday or Friday night lecture to go to (Harvard, MIT, Boston Improv U, etc.), and the loser buys the winner a drink after.
How about we… have a winter moonlight picnic, say the next snowy evening (or just full moon), head over to the pedestrian bridge over the Charles. We can trade stories, play hopscotch, or howl at the stars (or make wishes).
How about we… Take a walk in on a beach near Gloucester and then go eat oysters and have a drink.
What's your favorite day and night of the week?
Day of the week is Thursday. It's full of promise. Night of the week is Friday - though someday I hope it will include Sunday for the opposite reason - one an explosion or release of energy - the second a warming of the bones.
An awesome place I've visited:
The movie I've watched the most times:
My life history in 5 sentences or fewer:
My dad said I was laughing when I came into the world. Have kept laughing but have had time for one or two tears. Lived many places, made and kept many friends. Started taking regular salsa classes two years ago. Fell in love with the music, the physics, the sensuality, the rhythm, complexity and grace, it fits me and what I love in life and seek.
My first concert / My dream concert:
Allman Brothers way too long ago./Grupo Niche if they were playing in a dance hall.
Obscure knowledge I possess:
FO88274. The phone number of a childhood buddy who always made me laugh and which I've never forgotten.
For me, a first date no-no is:
What I would bring to show and tell:
Songs that light me up. Con permisso - Hector Rivera Sin Sentimientos - Grupo Niche No Tires La Primera Piedres - Tommy Olivencia Perquito Pin Pin - Tommy Olivencia Baby It's Cold Outside - Betty Carter/Ray Charles
A story you should remind me to tell you on our first date:
I secretly want to be:
Graceful as Fred Astaire, soulful as Marvin Gaye, rhythmic as Cuba, brave as Crazy Horse, charmed as George Clooney, and as good with life as my dad.
I want to be with someone who wants to be:
in touch with her friends and family, close to men as well as women, cooking in the kitchen at least once a week, able to make love in the kitchen at least once a month, and able to go out to dance when she wants.
An infatuation of mine:
One thing my mother would want you to know about me:
I think outside of the box.
