Sunday NYTimes and iced coffee somewhere outside, grocery shopping at the Dupont Farmer's market, brunch w/friends, a run up and down embassy row and making dinner alone or with girlfriends.

Midwest family and education. Fell hard for D.C. on an 8th grade field trip. Political reporter with a travel bug. Grad and law school in Chicago. Moved to the Middle East to teach journalism and report. Unforgettable experiences but missed my life in Washington.
