I try for somewhere tropical, remote, and new every year. This year: Hawaii, Joshua Tree, and Copenhagen. More regional places I frequent: Portland, O; Grass Valley; redwoods & beach spots.

Bay Area native. College in North East. Interdisciplinary geek. Interested in, involved with, and frequently contemplating stuff related to what it means to be human, whole, happy, healthy, and other phenomenological and existential inquiries. Value: humor, expression, honesty, awareness, communication, connection, and lots more.
My first concert / My dream concert:
I'm more of a show goer than a concert goer. Listening to live music has been best for me when it's a small venue, I have friends in the crowd and/or band, and feel free to shake my tail feathers.
Obscure knowledge I possess:
Stuff about various weird and cool creatures like the octupus and slow loris. I'm a fan of animal documentaries too (BBC Planet series is gold!). I'd like to go to Madagascar and have breakfast with lemurs and the Galapagos Islands and hang with some turtles someday.
I have a weakness for guys/girls who:
beards, witty humor, and/or a friendly dog.
For me, a first date no-no is:
The usual consideration stuff: don't be super late, don't text on your phone excessively, don't be rude to people.

I secretly want to be:
a musician. I intend on learning the harmonium & ukulele sometime soon. For now karaoke & rock-bank will have to suffice.
If I won the lottery and quit my job, I would:
create a holistic health clinic staffed by my amazing and talented array of healer and doctor friends. I have a whole vision I'll tell you about if we ever meet. I'd also use some of it for practical things like investing and saving and equally important-but-in-a-different-way things like travel, dinner at French Laundry, funding pro bono work.
