Don't take themselves too seriously....if you can't laugh at yourself then you shouldn't be laughing at others.
For me, a first date no-no is:
Talking on your cell phone....if something is that important then you should just excuse yourself and go.
One thing my mother would want you to know about me:
That I am a very caring person. She would've told you about the time I cried on the train through Germany because it was hailing hard outside and all the cows were just standing there, I didn't understand why people didn't bring them inside.
