First: A Perfect Circle Dream: Steve Reich followed by Tortoise, Shpongle, Mars Volta, err, Pink Floyd, topped off with Pretty Lights. (Yeah, that'd be worth seeing.)
Obscure knowledge I possess:
When you listen to a vinyl record for the very first time, you're hearing the exact sound wave that was present in the studio when it was recorded . You're literally hearing the past inside the present-- it's like time travel. Tapes, CDs, and MP3s don't do this at all!
I have a weakness for guys/girls who:
Have dark hair and blue eyes. Or look like they're up to something mischievous. Or who genuinely care.
A story you should remind me to tell you on our first date:
Being held hostage in Moscow, traveling across America by car for a year, a beautiful star-filled, snow-covered psychedelic night in Vermont, being drugged by a shopkeeper in Istanbul, the nudist hot tub didjeridoo concert in Big Sur, discovering a secret cave outside a hotel in China, touching the stones at Avebury, narrowing missing being killed by a taxi while INSIDE a cafe in the east village....
I secretly want to be:
A cinematographer.
I want to be with someone who wants to be:
to laugh, live passionately, and make life as fun and awe-inspiring as possible.
If I won the lottery and quit my job, I would:
Travel the world and take more pictures. Start a foundation to give jobs to the impoverished. Start another foundation to study the mechanics of memory.
