An awesome place I've visited:
Storm King, the sculpture park across the Hudson from Beacon, NY, which is also lovely.
My perfect Sunday:
A cocktail brunch followed by a nice walk, followed by a motorbike ride to the beach. I could do that every Sunday from now on.
The movie I've watched the most times:
Back to the Future, a common answer for men of a certain age, I'm sure.
Obscure knowledge I possess:
I know a little bit about almost everything (and what I don't, I'm curious about), which allows for what I think is great conversation.
For me, a first date no-no is:
A lack of gratitude or giving advice on how I should behave on future first dates with other people. Showing up drunk and chewing with one's mouth open are also frowned upon.
What I would bring to show and tell:
My shoes. I have a thing for them. Not to get all creepy, but I'd probably have a purely clinical interest in yours too.
A story you should remind me to tell you on our first date:
I got a million of 'em, most of which end with a laugh.
I want to be with someone who wants to be:
Happy and healthy, smarter and better.
An infatuation of mine:
Architecture, design, reading, photography, art, memory, travel, technology, bars, trivia, food, nature, music, security, opportunity, doing, writing, fashion, film, bikes, nature, domesticity, balance, cities, sunshine, and friends. Pick one.
One thing my mother would want you to know about me:
That she raised me right and that when I do or say something I shouldn't (which happens), she didn't raise me that way.
