lazily drinking coffee and reading the papers, then taking a stroll along the river, a drive up to the Hudson Valley, a long, leisurely dinner in an intimate restaurant with spectacular but not pretentious food

Grew up in Westchester but always hung out in the city, went to Cornell, became a journalist interviewing celebrities, then writing about travel and food. While traveling the world, still maintaining close family relationships and a tight network of friends.
