One of my all time favorite trips was to Zion National Park.
Maybe On the Waterfront, maybe Annie Hall...
After an entire career's worth of work in NYC, I now commute to Long Island for an anti-poverty non-profit law office. Tough times! My major escape: Music, I play guitar and some banjo and love to sing, lead singing jams at folk music camp in West Va. in the summer, teach harmony singing in Brooklyn. I also love to read, bike ride, squirm while watching The Office, go to the movies, mourn the Mets, listen to live music...
Two current favorites: John Prine and the Seldom Scene (bluegrass)
I have written a four-page guide to jam session etiquette.
I have developed some skill at playing the nose flute. Don't ask...(but not as gross as it sounds)
