Caught the I-want-to-change-the-world bug at an early age. Have only had marginal success despite years of trying, but I have succeeded in raising two children who are happy, well-adjusted, progressive and reasonably successful, an accomplishment that will probably outlive all my others. Now writing a book that will nicely cap my career.
