How about we… compete in the "Spelling Buzz" at the Rock and Roll Hotel. Like a drunken spelling bee.
How about we… go look famous people in the eye at the National Portrait Gallery.
How about we… go see the DC Rollergirls.
My perfect Sunday:
Sleeping in late. Crossword or reading in bed. A trip to Eastern Market, then cooking and lounging in the evening.
The movie I've watched the most times:
Probably a League of Their Own.
My life history in 5 sentences or fewer:
I grew up in a suburb outside Chicago and went to college in Chicago too. I moved out to DC after graduation and worked on the hill for a few years then decided to go to law school. I've got two years down and one more to go.
My first concert / My dream concert:
Embarrassingly, my first "real" concert was Britney Spears. Can't say I'm particularly proud of that one. As for my dream concert, if you had asked me when I was like 14 I would have said New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys - a dream I happily fulfilled last year.
I have a weakness for guys/girls who:
For me, a first date no-no is:
I'm a very forgiving person except when it comes to chewing with your mouth open. If I can hear you eating, then it's probably over.
What I would bring to show and tell:
The letter I got from Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens for my 18th birthday.
A story you should remind me to tell you on our first date:
How I almost ran over a deer while driving a boat.
I want to be with someone who wants to be:
An infatuation of mine:
Dill - I tried to grow my own but the heat destroyed my garden.
If I won the lottery and quit my job, I would:
spend all day in the sun by the water reading great books.
One thing my mother would want you to know about me:
I want to come home to:
A puppy - but unfortunately I don't have one.
