Either the 1992 alternative rock-inspired film "Singles" (great soundtrack) or 1983's National Lampoon's "Vacation". (1985's "European Vacation" might be a tie.)
My life history in 5 sentences or fewer:
Grew up on Long Island from a family of many generational NYers; German, Irish, Italian. Studied Architecture in Buffalo, Boston and Barcelona. Lived in NYC for ten years (Brooklyn, Bronx, now Queens). A former architect, now an IT consultant for (mostly) design firms. Close with the family (youngest of three brothers; parents just celebrated their 40th anniversary). As you can tell, I usually live in cities that start with the letter 'B'.
My first concert / My dream concert:
Unfortunately, Billy Joel at Nassau Collesium. / Madonna. (only if I had VIP tickets.)
Obscure knowledge I possess:
I'm so full of useless facts its annoying.
For me, a first date no-no is:
Checking email on a BlackBerry (or any other device) during conversation (or the lack of).
What I would bring to show and tell:
The trained monkey that lives in my spare bedroom.

Why one should always wear a helmet when riding a bicycle (or rather, what embarrassing situations happen when a hormone raged 15 year old spends three weeks in the hospital).
