My life history in 5 sentences or fewer:

Born and raised on the east side of the Cascades where small town living pushed me toward more urban pastures. Undergradatuated from UO and then followed my nose up I5 to Portland. Spent a couple of years tooling around the rose city working for youth development organizations then decided to go back to school and become a teacher. Before starting school I took a one year pit stop in Thailand to teach English. I returned to Portland recently and am now gearing up for grad school.
