An awesome place I've visited:

Although it happens fairly infrequently in LA, when I find myself on an empty beach it's almost always rejuvenating and awe-inspiring. To think: all this expanse of water before me and this huge expanse of land behind me, and I'm right there at the crux of it all - the beginning and the end of places is a notion that I always find fascinating.

My perfect Sunday:

wake up without the alarm, read the New York Times, have some tea, write a little, go to a museum or see a movie, make dinner, and have friends over for a big feast where we can all just relax and be happy we made it another week.

The movie I've watched the most times:

The Hours. I just can't get enough of it. I watch it when I'm happy, I watch it when I'm sad, I've read the screenplay, I've watched all the special features. I'm obsessed.
