My perfect Sunday:
A late brunch followed by a workout and a trip to the grocery store (I LOVE the grocery store). Then lazing around on the couch the rest of the day.
The movie I've watched the most times:
I don't have one specific movie, but I can quote just about any Will Ferrell movie.
My life history in 5 sentences or fewer:
I'm an army brat, so I grew up moving all over, including South Korea for 2 years of high school. I was a huge tomboy growing up (my first sleepover was with boys in a treehouse-no joke) and while I'm definitely not a tomboy anymore, I still love getting outside and have a pretty adventurous streak. I went to JMU to pursue my life-long dream of being a teacher. I love going to work every day and feel like I'm making some kind of difference in the world.
My first concert / My dream concert:
Dave Matthews Band was my first an only concert. I know, I know, pretty sad I've only been to one in my life, but would love to go to more.
Obscure knowledge I possess:
anything a 2nd grader would need to know...do you know how many legs a caterpillar has?
I have a weakness for guys/girls who:
are funny and have an outgoing personality, someone who appreciates my awesomely terrible jokes and has a glass half-full outlook on life...and of course, a gentleman
For me, a first date no-no is:
telling me that teachers have such an easy job because we get "summers off." Don't get me started.
A story you should remind me to tell you on our first date:
why I don't parallel park, the time I learned you don't get cell phone reception in a sewer, or a boy's comment to me my first week of teaching (or any hilarious teaching story-i have a million)
I secretly want to be:
a competitive runner. My dad is a crazy runner (he's over 50 and still runs marathons in under 3 hours) and I would love to run a half-marathon sometime, but for now I'll hang with 5ks.
I want to be with someone who wants to be:
active. Having a lazy day in sweatpants is great...but if it's a nice day outside I have a hard time sitting still and like to get out and do something fun.
An infatuation of mine:
animals (I love all kinds of animals), watching cooking shows (and yes, actually cooking/baking as well), rooftop bars and wine, margaritas and mojitos.
If I won the lottery and quit my job, I would:
Travel all over the world, buy my parents something amazing, throw a big party and probably still work because I love my job.
