About cambridgegirl

An awesome place I've visited:

I studied abroad in Paris in college and got to travel around Europe. In no particular order I fell in love with London for the history, the theatre and the parks, Rome for the food and getting to play gladiator in the Colosseum, Brussels for the opportunity to get a police report in Flemish after getting pickpocketed and Avignon for introducing me to nutella flavored gelato.

My perfect Sunday:

sleeping in ranks at the top of the list followed by a yoga class or a bike ride, then back home for some quality couch time curled up with a good book or a movie with possibly another nap before dinner.

The movie I've watched the most times:

The Princess Bride ("No more rhymes now I mean it! Anybody want a peanut?)

My life history in 5 sentences or fewer:

I grew up in Connecticut. After a short stint in Cleveland (where I thought opera was my future), I ended up in Massachusetts for college and never wanted to leave. Law school did take me back to Connecticut for three years, but now I'm back and couldn't be happier. I'm currently an almost lawyer with a love of singing who tries to find time to satisfy both her brainy needs and creative needs.

Obscure knowledge I possess:

Random movie musical and Broadway trivia to satisfy my creative side and legal knowledge that no one else in their right mind would want to have in their brain to satisfy my brainy side.

For me, a first date no-no is:

sharing a lot about past relationships. Focus on the future instead.

If I won the lottery and quit my job, I would:

A. Travel; B. Learn how to sail; B. Pursue putting together a cabaret act.

I want to come home to:

a quiet house with a home cooked meal and a glass of red wine waiting for me.
