An awesome place I've visited:
One of my favorite "first dates" -- late August ferry with bicycles to swim on Martha's Vineyard South Beach, ending w/ bumping into President O. during dinner, while waiting for ferry home.
My perfect Sunday:
Sunny. Coffee in AM. Outdoor activity. Socializing w/ friends. Good movie at night (would like to see J. Edgar).
The movie I've watched the most times:
three repeats: Something the Lord Made (great historical drama), The Green Mile, The Closet (French Comedy).
My life history in 5 sentences or fewer:
I've accomplished all my goals except living happily ever after w/ husband, lover & best friend (preferably same person.) This includes training & showing horses to Olympic level, 20 years participating in great companies in High Tech industry -- from receptionist to executive. Love business.
My first concert / My dream concert:
Impromptu gathering of great musicians, 12 string guitar playing "The Rain Song." Awesome.
Obscure knowledge I possess:
I know how to do two tempi-changes on a horse, and how to open the Nasdaq.
I have a weakness for guys/girls who:
are smart.
For me, a first date no-no is:
Sometimes, I end up liking someone I can't stand when I first meet them. Life has a way of humbling us when we are judgmental.
What I would bring to show and tell:
A link to the video of three dogs and me riding my scooter.
A story you should remind me to tell you on our first date:
A date who fell asleep sitting up while visiting friends, and woke up shouting something very 'male.'
I secretly want to be:
Rich, warm, and happy.
If I won the lottery and quit my job, I would:
Start a business and employ a lot of talented friends.
One thing my mother would want you to know about me:
She was prejudiced, obviously. But she'd say -- I'm brilliant, beautiful, and I nibble pie crust.
I want to come home to:
Someone who makes me laugh and feel desirable and attractive, even when I'm stressed..
