How about we… go ballroom dancing (Latin or Standard)? If you don't know how it's never too late to learn!

How about we… play beach volleyball!

About bjh5173

An awesome place I've visited:

The best way to contact me is by email bjh5173 (at) gmail (dot) com since I am no longer a subscriber. Turkey, England, Italy, Moldova, Israel, Panama, New Mexico, white water rafting in Idaho.

My perfect Sunday:

Watching football with friends (during football season of course). Otherwise I like to sleep in, eat a nice lunch and just enjoy the free time, maybe play some sports (tennis, basketball, volleyball, etc.). As long as I can relax and keep my mind off the real world it's a great Sunday, add take-in Chinese food for dinner and it's perfect.

The movie I've watched the most times:

Zoolander, Anchorman, anything Judd Apatow, Bull Durham, Shawshank Redemption, Super Troopers

My life history in 5 sentences or fewer:

I grew up in Great Neck, NY just outside of New York City. I studied Journalism at Penn State University. I am trying to pursue a career in sports or politics, as long as I can be in NYC. Looking forward to getting to rediscover the greatest city in the world. Die hard Giants, Yankees, Knicks and Rangers fan. My motto: "A life is only important in the impact it has on other lives." -Jackie Robinson

My first concert / My dream concert:

Best: Paul McCartney, then Real Big Fish. Dream: seeing The Beatles live in the 60's. Today my dream concert would be the Foo Fighters.

Obscure knowledge I possess:

I am a pretty good ballroom dancer (cha-cha, rumba, jive, tango, foxtrot, quickstep, or waltz). I'm also really good at trivia nights with really random trivia.

I have a weakness for guys/girls who:

If they don't know a lot about sports, are at least willing to tolerate and/or learn. Smile a lot and have a good laugh; a great smile is still the most underrated feature of any human being.

For me, a first date no-no is:

Movies because it prevents people from actually talking and getting to know each other.

What I would bring to show and tell:

The blanket I was given when I was born or my signed Joe Paterno football mini-helmet.

A story you should remind me to tell you on our first date:

The time I successfully completed a 46 hour dance marathon (aka THON) for charity. FTK!

I secretly want to be:

a professional chef. Not so secretly: a professional athlete.

I want to be with someone who wants to be:

romantic.

An infatuation of mine:

Volleyball. Sports (especially the Yankees, Rangers, Knicks, and Giants) and any good TV/Movie comedy. Of course food!

If I won the lottery and quit my job, I would:

Travel the U.S. and go to every ballpark in America for a baseball game, open a bar/restaurant. Then I would take the rest of the money and donate it to the largest student run philanthropy in the world, the Penn State Dance Marathon, FTK!

One thing my mother would want you to know about me:

I talk way too much. There's never a conversation I can't hold.

I want to come home to:

a good meal and someone to relax on the couch and watch TV with.
