How about we… Get outdoors and go somewhere/do something active neither of us has done before...hike? bike?
The Grand Tetons. Hike, then visit the information center afterwards and look up pics in the scat book to identify who was watching you jingle the bear bells along the trail.
A long paddle in the sunshine, followed by a big coffee, enjoyed on the benches outside the Starbucks on the Embarcadero (you can't see the back side of this SB from the street/880, but the benches look out on the estuary and the back side of Coast Guard Island. On a pleasant day, with friends, it's just lovely).
Hmmm...probably a tie between The American President and The Big Country (oldie with Gregory Peck, Charlton Heston and bunches of other people.)
I'm a late bloomer. Exited college thinking I knew what I wanted to do, then backtracked and started over. Traveled/volunteered in Europe, pressed espresso, worked in a bakery, staffed a circulation desk at a library, shoveled snow and cleaned houses at Sugar Bowl and finally began teaching at 30. Still not sure what I want to be when I grow up, but I'm narrowing the options...
