was a teacher, now a carpenter
If you want to message me:
I don't have the upgrade, so you can send me a message at awaple at gmail (dot) com.
An awesome place I've visited:
Sugar Loaf Mountain in Rio de Janeiro.
My perfect Sunday:
A Bears win, a laundry win, and a chocolate win.
The movie I've watched the most times:
"Dumb and Dumber" or "Star Wars"
My life history in 5 sentences or fewer:
I was born in Mexico, lived in Brasil, and have British citizenship. I love to travel and wish I could do it more. I love trying different/new things, but dancing is not one of them (unless I'm really intoxicated). I've been involved in a lot of comedic activities, and would like to do more. I've always been very thrifty and don't like waste.
My first concert / My dream concert:
First: Smashing Pumpkins' second-to-last show at the UC in 2001. Dream: Beatles.
Obscure knowledge I possess:
It's not that obscure for the area, but I love Chicago history.
I have a weakness for guys/girls who:
pick one: are athletic; love oldies/classic rock; like board games; are Brasilian.
For me, a first date no-no is:
Politics and religion. I've been there and it's never pretty.
What I would bring to show and tell:
My autographed Beatles record. It's my most prized possession, right up there with the DeLorean I don't own yet.
A story you should remind me to tell you on our first date:
Ask me what it's like to wear a chicken suit to a professional job fair.
I secretly want to be:
An infatuation of mine:
The Second City theater is probably my favorite place in the world.
If I won the lottery and quit my job, I would:
Take some of it for myself to live off of the rest of my life and travel. Most of it would be given away to people who deserve it.
One thing my mother would want you to know about me:
that I love my mom a lot? That I love chocolate? That I have always been very thrifty?
I want to come home to:
A clean home.
