investments support arts endeavors
How about we… hear a singer/songwriter or two.
An awesome place I've visited
People thrill me rather than place. I stayed on a very private Vineyard property alone for an extended time. If you walked beyond the fence but still on the property you were in the brush of Northern California. You kept a dog by your side to alert you to wildlife. There were platforms in various places out an hour or so into the property that overlooked the Yountsville and the Sonoma Valley.
My perfect sunday
The beach with the Times, lawn at Tanglewood with breakfast foods, Top of Bell Mountain during a snow squall, watching the boats leave the harbor at Block or Nantucket... Oh...you mean every Sunday? Walking the dogs to the muffin shop. Sitting at the window and watching people chat with them.
The movie I've watched the most times
Probably Apocalypse Now, Henry V, Die Hard or Star Wars. No, no Being John Malkovich! American Beauty, Magnolia?
My life history in 5 sentences or fewer
grew up in the Midwest of the mid-50s/60s. Vaccines and antibiotics made everyone feel invincible. Stuff happened. But no one talked about it until much later. Then, Grateful, vocal. Grateful.
My first concert / My dream concert
The Who. Nov 14, 1969. I was a freshman in high school. Cleveland's Public Hall. Third Row center. My date drove a blue Opal.
I have a weakness for Guys/Girls who
will read aloud when some text captures their attention.
For me, a first date no-no is
Anything that resembles the reality of Austin Powers.
I want to come home to
harmonious serenity with a secure guy who couldn't wait to get into the foyer to really kiss. Then could we start dreaming about the spaciousness of the foyer?
