Teacher & Writer
How about we… stuff ourselves silly at Borough Market and then walk it off round Tower Bridge?
How about we… watch Embarrassing Bodies and be grossed out by absolutely everything?
How about we… pretend we're in the tropics, go to a park and rock some swimsuits until we start sneezing?
An awesome place I've visited:
Tokyo, Japan. More recently, the Burren, Ireland had me awed for a good while.
My perfect Sunday:
Relax in the morning, have lunch out and a walk, and then relax in the evening again.
The movie I've watched the most times:
Probably The Lord of the Rings, or something of Pixar.
My life history in 5 sentences or fewer:
Born in Mexico, decided I was gonna be a writer, changed my mind to favor politics, noticed how stupid that was, became a writer after all, now wondering whether England is the place I'll "settle".
My first concert / My dream concert:
First, dad took me to see The Mamas & the Papas, unchained my love for classic rock/pop. Dream? Something I can dance and dance to, say Hot Chip, Daft Punk, Girl Talk.
Obscure knowledge I possess:
"Dumbbells", which you use at the gym to buff up, are named like that because of some sound-less (dumb) bells that monks used to practice (and buff up).
I have a weakness for guys/girls who:
Can talk about Pokémon.
For me, a first date no-no is:
Anywhere where we won't be able to talk - loud clubs, etc.
What I would bring to show and tell:
My first novel, because I like to brag about it.
A story you should remind me to tell you on our first date:
That time I got stuck inside a pillar in a temple in Kyoto.
I secretly want to be:
A dancer, or a gymnast.
I want to be with someone who wants to be:
Always looking forward.
An infatuation of mine:
Benjamin Cumberbatch *le sigh*
If I won the lottery and quit my job, I would:
Travel plenty and keep writing.
One thing my mother would want you to know about me:
That I'm pretty good friends with her. (but she stays out of this)
I want to come home to:
A friend, and animals. Eventually, a family. With animals.
