Tied between a hippo sanctuary in Northwest Ghana or the Giant's Causeway in Northern Ireland.

A great run (with gorgeous nature), a fantastic brunch, exploring a new place, probably an outdoor market or festival, and maybe a movie to wind down with a tasty and cozy dinner.

Amelie (you'd be surprised how many people have not watched this!) and tied with any Rocky movie/Top Gun/Indiana Jones

Originally from Southern California before my family moved to run a free range chicken farm in Georgia, I have worked and traveled abroad to over 70 countries, most recently Afghanistan. Now enjoying my time in DC working at a small international human rights organization. In my spare time, I'm leading ethnic food tours and training for my next marathon.
My first concert / My dream concert:
Dream Concert: U2 in Dublin First Concert: Green Day in Southern California.
Obscure knowledge I possess:
How to operate a helicopter in Afghanistan in the event that the pilot is unable to fly
I have a weakness for guys/girls who:
Enjoy fitness, love being adventurous food, and are passionate about travel.
For me, a first date no-no is:
Being checked out. An ideal first date is when the other person actually listens and engages.
What I would bring to show and tell:
Either the Boston Marathon medal or my hat collection from every country I've been to.

How I finally got to say, "Follow that car!" to a taxi and start a crazy car chase scene.
I secretly want to be:
An astronaut. Ever since I was a kid, I wanted to be one. I even went to space camp...twice. These days, I'd love to be a food writer actually if I could.
I want to be with someone who wants to be:
Happy and fulfilled with who they are. That's absolutely sexy - a woman with confidence and an understanding of what dreams they want to chase.
An infatuation of mine:
People watching at Dupont Circle. I could enjoy a meal and hang out to see folks coming and going all day!
If I won the lottery and quit my job, I would:
Buy my parents the home of their dreams. Set up a fantastic B&B and then travel the world and volunteer. And probably own a cool sports team?
One thing my mother would want you to know about me:
I love picnics and being outside. Especially with ice cream.
I want to come home to:
an awesome dog and ideally a great meal while enjoying a view of the monuments.
