How about we… listen to jazz, drink wine and watch the sunset at Oakhurst Community Garden.
How about we… watch an obscure movie at the Plaza, then get a drink at Righteous Room and have deep thoughts about it.
How about we… go grab a drink and listen to some live tunes somewhere.
The Galapagos Islands -- nothing like giant tortoises to make you feel like you have a lot more to see in life.
Up at a reasonable hours, coffee and maybe a small bite, it's sunny out, so a little run is a great way to start the day, then onto a bigger breakfast. From there it could be the park with friends, where I bring my watercolors, or maybe a jaunt through a new exhibit at a museum. Ideally the day ends with a glass of wine and a new episode of Mad Men. Somewhere in there, too, there's romance, friendship, connection, laughter, and big talk about big ideas.
hmmmm....maybe Amelie? but I don't think I've really seen any movie more than twice.
Parents, two foreign hippies, move to NYC and get married. My brother and I are born. In high school I am kind of awkward but who isn't (ok, some people aren't.) In college I fall in love with creative writing, and hatch a plan to travel. I backpack through South America, become a travel writer based in Ecuador. Eventually I come back to NYC, get a master's in Public Health and move to Atlanta to work for the CDC.
My first show was some unknown jazz band that played at the Knitting Factory in NYC, which I don't think exists anymore. But they didn't card so even someone with braces could get in.
