An awesome place I've visited:
Yerba Buena Gardens: It's like a little nest of quiet in the middle of the city. Plus, from there all the buildings seem flat.

Cook breakfast, do some writing, then go out to do something outdoorsy (maybe with a picnic lunch), then wrap up the day with some TV.
