Wake up slowly, read the NY Times in my pi's with a perfect cup of coffee, take the dogs for a walk in the park, go for a bike ride or paddle around the lake in my kayak, have a fun lunch somewhere special, then back home to watch a movie by the fireplace.

I moved from southern CA to the middle-of-nowhere Appalachia when I was 13. I went to UTK for undergrad, Rutgers for grad school (the first time). I worked in an unfulfilling career in corporate HR for 15 years, most of that time trying to figure out how to make a change. Now I'm pursuing my dream career of becoming a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner. Oh, and I love dogs!

My first concert: Olivia Newton-John's Physical tour--1982. I went with my babysitter. Dream concert: Jimmy Buffett does a command performance in my back yard for me and my closest friends.
