How about we… visit the monkeys and elephants at the LA Zoo.
How about we… go stuff ourselves silly with all-you-can-eat sushi, then check out some live bands we've never seen before?
How about we… rent a couple of horses from the LA Equestrian Center and explore Griffith Park from horseback?
An awesome place I've visited:
Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood Palace in Edinburgh, Scotland. The Royal Mile makes the historian in me happy. And so does all the whiskey shops...:)
My perfect Sunday:
A late brunch at a favorite place after coffee in bed, then some browsing shops or a museum, or going out for a walk or to the zoo. Then back home for a nice home cooked dinner, some wine and a good movie or "Game of Thrones" on HBO.
The movie I've watched the most times:
That would be a toss-up between "Kill Bill, Vols. 1 & 2" and "Love Actually". Yes, I have eclectic tastes.
My first concert / My dream concert:
First Concert watched: Barenaked Ladies "Maroon" tour. We were on the main floor in the middle. It was fabulous. First Concert performed: Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies Fall concert series, as a cellist. Dream concert would be either Michael Buble in Europe, or just getting to finally go to the Coachella concert series.
Obscure knowledge I possess:
Ask me anything about the Titanic, I can fill you in. No, not the movie, the actual ship and details surrounding the sinking. I also have an unbelievable amount of useless information about the Renaissance too...
I have a weakness for guys/girls who:
who have a matching sense of humor, and can be funny without being overly crude. I also like guys who treat me like a lady without ulterior motives.
For me, a first date no-no is:
Talking/Texting/Checking Facebook at anytime during the date. Unless a family member is on their deathbed, or you are on-call as a secret agent, you don't need to be tethered.
I secretly want to be:
A singer in a Celtic Rock band. Actually, singer in any band, or back-up singer to one of my favorite artists.
