Grew up on the North Shore of MA and went to undergrad in NH. Joined the Peace Corps in former Soviet Union and stayed two years after in country. Moved back to Boston after a coup in the country, went to grad school, changed careers. Now I am settled with my career and I am pursuing new interests, including sailing, hiking/walking and drawing/painting.

Russian language, most of the lines of Ferris Bueller, geez, probably a lot of other stuff I'll think of later...
I have a weakness for guys/girls who:

is not the dog I am holding in the picture. That is my friends' dog. I don't have a dog. But I thought that picture was amusing.
If I won the lottery and quit my job, I would:
really focus on being more creative, either through painting or drawing or a musical instrument. I got into abstract and figure drawing last year and go down to the MFA for the free figure drawing the galleries on Wednesday nights. I also have been taking piano lessons and I am gradually figuring it out.
