My life history in 5 sentences or fewer:

I grew up in a rural town on the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland, then spent seven years in freezing upstate New York to go to college and law school, and now practice law at an international law firm in Manhattan. I like politics, dessert, dining out, my dogs and good conversation. I have two younger brothers. The rest of my immediate family still lives in Maryland. I have two dogs, Milo and Odie.

My first concert / My dream concert:

Rusted Root in college. I'm finally going to see Gaga in February. But I'd love to go to a DMB concert...points if you know what DMB stands for...I just never got around to it.

Obscure knowledge I possess:

I'm a walking Jeopardy episode. Ask me anything. Seriously. Except about sports. I'm not good in that category on Trivial Pursuit.

For me, a first date no-no is:

Watersports. I meant jet skiing....of course! Seriously, just take a shower and be polite. The rest is negotiable.

What I would bring to show and tell:

In kindergarten, I'd always bring things I caught in my backyard: turtles, lizards, tobacco worms, praying mantises....

I secretly want to be:

the President, a Governor, a US Senator...or a drag queen.
