An awesome place I've visited:
Costa Rica - beach front cottages, mosquito netting, darkest nighttime i've ever seen, great friends, imperial and cans of rum and coke, endless games of charades, perfect.
My perfect Sunday:
wake up late - no alarm. grab a coffee and read us weekly, the economist and the times. head to the greenmarket or beach (depending on the season), grab some drinks, make a nice dinner, watch mad men/game of thrones/yankees/the walking dead (depending on the season)
The movie I've watched the most times:
Gladiator (but kind of a trick question because it is always on TV)
My life history in 5 sentences or fewer:
born in a snowy place with great summers. the only daughter (3 older brothers). brief sojourns to london, paris, chicago, dc but nyc for a while now. great in my career...but prefer to work to live and try to maintain that balance (not currently successful at it right now as i am living to work these days).
Obscure knowledge I possess:
To be honest, I would be really good on Jeopardy.
I have a weakness for guys/girls who:
Guys who carry a Leatherman.
For me, a first date no-no is:
Groupons. (unless for helicopter rides)

I went to a wedding last August that started with a promising game of charades and ended with a National Guard rescue. Wish I was kidding.

If I won the lottery and quit my job, I would:
I wouldn't quit my job - I would continue on the same path I'm on now just at much greater speed and with endless resources to get where I'm going. I'd also take some really nice vacations and buy a sailboat.
