Grew up in Arizona listening to the coyotes howl at night and the cicadas buzz during the summer. Moved to Argentina after college to work for a newspaper. Lived on a boat in the middle of the ocean for a month with a captain who prepared the most amazing sashimi I've ever had. Moved to Boston where I started working for the Globe and I love, love, love my job.
