How about we… walk around the city and people watch. Let's make up stories about who they are and what they do.
Travel is something new that I am doing. I just spent two weeks in India and I have officially been bitten by the travel bug. I plan on going to London in the winter and then Italy in the spring.
Two perfect Sunday: brunch in the city and then walking around, allowing my feet to take me to the next experience, OR going on a hike with good company and my dogs.
In high school it was History of the World. If any of the Twilight movies are on, I definitely pause the channel flipping for Robert Pattinson (guilty pleasure!). I can watch Paul Rudd and Will Ferrel movies over and over again.
Every passing minute is another opportunity to turn it all around... Bhavna is my real name. I go by Bobbie, my nickname--it's so much easier to spell over the phone! I learned that part of my name (Bhavna) in Sanskrit means to "attract great energy, passion..." I am a dog trainer, teacher, agility competitor, business owner, friend, sister, daughter--well, maybe that's what I do and not who I am. I am reserved when I first meet someone, but if there's chemistry, rock on! I wouldn't go back and do it all over again--the journey was rocky, but I appreciate where I am so far. I like to go against the grain. 9 to 5 bores me. I have trouble keeping my mind still, which is why I do yoga. Even with life's ups and downs, I am enjoying the ride and look forward to each turn. Optimist? Probably. My family, friends, my health, and my work is what I am most grateful for. I feel very lucky to be able to make a living at something that I feel so passionate about. I'm a driven person, appreciating the challenges life throws my way both personally and professionally. I aspire for great things and most of the time, I believe anything is possible as long as I work for it. I feel incredibly grateful when inspiration strikes, so I'm always listening for that little creative voice that whispers a new idea in my ear. This is a valuable part of being a small business owner. Everything that occurs can be an opportunity to learn and grow, as long as you open you mind and your heart. I love competing and instructing in the dog sport agility. I just might be addicted. Check out video of the sport on YouTube. I love to laugh- the kind that makes your sides hurt as you struggle to catch your breath, the kind that makes your cheeks ache because your smile is stretched to capacity. I want to laugh with someone. I don't think I'm that funny, but I've been told I am. I guess the funny I can offer is the kind that sneaks up on you and slaps you upside the head. Kind of like a sleeper, coming out of the blue and lays you flat out. That might have been more than 5 sentences...
Beastie Boys 1997. Two of my best girlfriends went with me and we were in the middle of our own little mosh pit with some really nice guys.
The science of animal training. Not sure if it's really that obscure, but I can teach a dog to moonwalk within minutes.
That can appreciate NPR, is a fan of Malcom Gladwell, and can get silly over an episode of South Park or Family Guy.
Talking about an ex that burned you--especially the one right before me! At least wait until date number 5.
My forearm stand, as soon as I can finally do it.
The time I was mistaken for Cher circa 1970s. At least it wasn't Cher today.
A rockstar in an all-girl band. I want to play bass.
Real. Authentic.
Travel the world. But I would purchase my own plane so my dogs can come with me. Then I would open a dog training facility after purchasing 25 acres of land.
That I have a big heart and forgive easily.
Flowers--lillies! And dinner. I can't cook. Sorry boys! But I do make a mean baked ziti.
