An awesome place I've visited:
Pikes Peak. Independence Day snowball fights are especially awesome as a kid.
My perfect Sunday:
Church, then a game of soccer with friends, then either fish until dark and start a campfire, or get together for a little pencil and paper roleplaying.
The movie I've watched the most times:
Princess Bride, perhaps? If you listened to the things I quote, it would probably be either the Rocky and Bullwinkle show, or the Muppet Movie.
My life history in 5 sentences or fewer:
Big family, love 'em to death(sometimes nearly literally. XD). Was the awkward kid in the corner, found myself working at Dickson Valley Camp(free plug for my second home). Did the college thing for a while, found that it wasn't my thing. So I work outside, work with kids(generally older), and am currently working ecological restoration. For my last sentence, I would like to declare myself awesome.
Obscure knowledge I possess:
All of it! Well... Perhaps not, but I'm not one to skimp on picking up a new geekery. Currently, you can count on me for anything weapons related, ornithology and herptology, roleplaying(particularly D&D 3.5), Star Wars, and some general pop/internet culture types of obscure knowledge. I'd like to learn more about botany, and am learning a lot of native plants. Also, trying to remind myself of physics.
I have a weakness for guys/girls who:
Are willing to be geeks/nerds, without conforming to the derogatory stereotypes. Also, being able to laugh or groan satisfactorily at a pun would probably help.
I secretly want to be:
A superhero. Or supervillain. Not sure yet. Superheroes get to save the world, but villains get the cool toys. As long as I could have a giant orbital laser, I think I'd be happy.
If I won the lottery and quit my job, I would:
Give half of it to camp, invest enough to live off the interest, then grab up a cabin in the backwoods and work on my blacksmithing. And probably become a falconer.
